T-STEM Teams

Design Team

The Design Team consists of the STEM Coordinator, T-STEM Counselor, T-STEM Teachers (Core/Elective)

  • The Design Team meets regularly to collaborate on such things as:

    • Mission and Vision

    • Annual Action Plan

    • Academy Expectations (student academics, behavior, community service related activities, clubs/organizations, student leadership, tutorials, PBLs, parental outreach, recruitment)

    • Curriculum, Instruction, Data Analysis

Leadership Team

The Leadership Team consists of the T-STEM Coordinator, T-STEM Counselor, T-STEM Lead Teacher (core), AVID Teacher, CTE teacher, CTE Counselor, CTE Director, Campus Principals and Deans of Instruction

  • Primary Leadership Team – T-STEM Coordinator and T-STEM Counselor

    • Student Academic Conferences, Student IGPs, Teacher Recruitment, Staff Development

  • Leadership Team - All members

    • The Leadership Team is responsible for the planning and actions on Course Offerings , Master Schedule, Input on Teacher Selection, Staff Development, Curriculum and Instruction, Data Analysis, Mission and Vision Support

Advisory Board

The Advisory Board consists of the Advanced Academics Director, T-STEM Coordinator, T-STEM Counselor, Campus Principal, Campus Deans of Instruction, School Board Member(s), District Academic Department (Academic Chief Officers, Directors), Business Partners, South Texas College, Parent Representative, Student Representative

  • Provides support and guides decisions for facilities, resources, curriculum development, internships, externships, student/community outreach, STEM-related field lessons
